In what has been an outstanding Spring season for the entire Marian University Ancilla Men's Golf team, Sophomore Hunter Zdyb has found his rhythm and been a standout once again in 2026. The 2025 NJCAA Division II All-American from nearby New Prairie High School has now added MCCAA Western Conference Golfer of the Week honors in consecutive weeks to his list of accomplishments!!

Last week, the team participated in both the Grand Rapids tournament (3/13) at the Mines Golf Club (MI) and the MUAC tournament (3/19) at Swan Lake Resort, with Hunter finishing well in each event. At the tournament last Monday, Zdyb shot a 4-over 74, tying him for the 18-hole lead. In a 4-hole playoff, Zdyb won the individual title by sinking a 15-foot birdie putt. Friday, at Swan Lake, he shot a 5-over 77 and finished in a tie for 4th Place.

Congratulations once again, Hunter, on your on-course success!! The entire Marian Ancilla community is proud of you and happy for you!! The Chargers will travel to Greenville, Michigan, this Friday, April 24th, to compete for the MCCAA Western Conference title. PLEASE come out to support these young men, if you are able!!
