Women's Soccer Returned; Lillis Named All-MCCAA

This Fall, the Marian University Ancilla Women's Soccer program returned to the field after not playing a 2024 season. Additionally, they posted a 2-9 overall record, including a 2-7 mark in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association, and they scored 11 goals in 11 matches. Two years ago, the Chargers managed just a 1-18 record, including an 0-15 mark in MCCAA play, and they scored just 5 goals in 19 matches. Obviously, they not only returned, but they did so in an improved way.

For her contributions, 5-3 Sophomore defender Lucy Lillis was honored by being named to the Honorable Mention All-MCCAA Team. While defensive players don't accumulate many statistics in soccer, she was instrumental in helping to limit whatever offensive opportunities opponents brought their way. Lillis came to MUAC from Moores Hill, Indiana, where she graduated from Milan High School.

Congratulations to Lilly on an outstanding accomplishment, and congratulations to the entire Women's Soccer program for a nice bounce-back season. The entire Marian Ancilla community is proud of you and happy for you, and we can't wait to see what you have in store for next season!!
